May 2014 newsletter

May, a very busy month

My first month as newsletter reporter and I sit here staring at a blank sheet wondering where to start. It feels quite a daunting task knowing I need to fill these empty pages with interesting and useful information that our members will eagerly look forward to reading. Mark Clawson has passed me a large white envelope containing the handover information I will need so I decide to start there. Inside I find all the necessary information as promised together with several lovely race reports from our members – thank you! Your contribution to our newsletter is vital so please keep sending in race results, reports and photos. I want to thank Mark for his hard work producing the past newsletters. I’m sure all Saints and Sinners will agree that he has dedicated a lot of time and effort into improving the club and it’s a pleasure to help Mark with the newsletter so that he can direct more of his time towards coaching and club development. I’ve heard a lot of encouraging and enthusiastic feedback about the Wednesday evening sessions, they sound like fun. As May draws to an end I am delighted to report that it’s been a very busy month for our runners, evident by the amount of interesting content which I’m sure will keep everyone captivated. Without any further delay pop the kettle on, put your feet up and enjoy reading the May issue of the Saints and Sinners Newsletter.
