We couldn’t finish our 2017 Hall of Fame without recognizing someone who truly embodies what Saints & Sinners is all about.
As someone who joined the club in recent months, he has quickly made himself a firm favourite and takes to encouraging and supporting his fellow runners in a colourful and noisy fashion.
He was determined to run and often did his training runs around Tilgate to help build up distance and stamina. That training has really helped him to now build up his bling collection with runs such as The Hove 10K, New Forest 10k, Newick 10K, Caterham Rotary 10K and both the Horsham and Worthing 10K’s to mention just a few.
He can often be seen in bright yellow with “Pom-Poms” and on occasion tambourines of sorts giving shouts of encouragement to every single runner as they pass him at the bottom of Middle Path on parkrun.
As an advocate of parkrun and of Saints & Sinners, step forward Nigel Roy Field!
